Legend:

Shorobe

Shorobe

  Botswana - Okawango's delta

Shorobe is the very last village prior to enter into the Moremi Game Reserve.
It lyes 1 hour drive from the Moremi's south-west entrance and just 20 minutes drive from Maun.
Arriving in Shorobe the Okawango's delta starts to embrace you and the feeling to be in a true natural kingdom, with different rules from western World, is actually there.
Moremi GR and Okawango's delta are the ultimate paradise for wildlife lovers. Safaris here are beyond the imagination, a pure loveliness flows around you and within you while you are hit by the raw power of nature... but don't forget, this is not a journey for rookies

Tolar Grande

Tolar Grande

Argentina - Los Andes - Puna

Tolar Grande is a former mining railway-yard village, located at the core of the Argentina's Puna into the Los Andes department.
It lies on the shore of the Salar de Arizaro, offering outstanding attractions such as the astonishing and mythological Cono de Arita, the stunning Ojos del Mar, the lonely El Deserto del Diablo y Las 7 Curvas.
Traversing the Puna to arrive here, via Salar de Antofalla, is the ultimate wilderness 4x4 experience!
Having been in Tolar Grande will gift you a stunning "out-of-World" feeling, experimenting the border between known and unknown lands.
Looking for a folk habit, but with proper dutifulness? Pachamama is a folk ritual practiced here as well, opening mind to sense of respect for nature and earth.

Sesriem

Sesriem

  Namibia - Namib Desert

Sesriem is a settlement located between the Naukluft Mountains and the Namib desert.
It is the perfect access gate to Sossuslvei area of Namib-Naukluft National Park.
Sossuslvei and the neighbor area, including Deadvlei, Hiddenvlei and the various fairy-tale pink-orange dunes, are worth the trip from whatever corner of the World you are coming from. Wildlife, as we experimented in late April, can be amazing, mostly about oryxes roaming freely.
Besides these super-star attractions, the Namib desert and Naukluft mountains mixing together offer off-beaten tracks, with incomparable scenarios, which cannot be missed. Last but probably a premium reason, the atmosphere of charming "out-of-time" colonial desert settlement, along with fantastic sundowners spent with a glass of wine close to a boma, admiring wildlife grazing placidly into the desert, are memorable.

Putre

Putre

  Chile - Parque Nacional Lauca

Putre is a sort of gate for a world beyond.
It offers an outstanding bite of the Altiplano pureness and it is the perfect basis to explore the wonders of Parque Nacional Lauca.
Here you can breath in full the genuine spirit of this magic land, having the chance to experiment fantastic hiking trails, off-beaten track drives, loneliness of colorful desert and mystic volcanoes, amazing fauna wondering around you.
All these, in comfortable standards (obviously you must have explorer attitude), but far away from heavy tourist route.
Attractions such as Salar de Surire, Chungarà & Cotacotani, Suriplaza are memorable for an entire life.

Springbok

Springbok

  South Africa - Namaqualand N.P. & Goegap N.R.

Springbok is a dusty and lonely town approx six hundred kms north far from Cape Town.
Located into the Namakwa District in the Northern Cape region, it is a perfect basis to explore the western area of Namaqua, the land where the magic of the desert blossoming comes true every late August / beginning September.
Springbok itself is really nothing worthy, but it is adjoining to the marvelous Goegap Nature Reserve (10 minutes drive) and very close (45 minutes drive) to the Namaqualand National Park, which is a great floral color palette coming to life every early spring into the wilderness of Succulent Karoo.

Springbok is indeed a perfect location for everyone who loves hiking into amazing landscapes, aiming to bring home memorable memories and once in life panorama’s photos.
Not only this, if you are planning to cross the border with Namibia, fording the mythical Orange river, Springbok is a good stop-over, which gives you perfect starting point for your drive towards the wonderful and astonishing Fish River Canyon.
